Traditional Catalan muffins with cinnamon and lemon.

Ingredients for traditional Catalan muffins

  • 420g farina

  • sugar 350g

  • 5 ous

  • 380ml of oli d'oliva

  • 120ml milk

  • 15g baking powder

  • cinnamon

  • will

  • grated lemon peel

Recipe for traditional Catalan muffins

  • To start we put in a bowl the flour, cinnamon, yeast and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Then mix with a spoon the flour and grated lemon zest and add it to the previous dough little by little.
  • We put everything in a pastry hose (or fill the molds with two spoons) and stuff the molds.
  • We put it in the hot oven for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
  • We let them cool on the marble and that's it !! ready for snack!

Notes

  • Before putting it in the oven, you can add sugar to decorate it and for the extra sweetness.
