La quallada són unes postres làctiques elaborades amb llet quallada per l’efecte d’un quall extret de l’herbacol, un tipus de card. Es tracta d’un producte similar en continguts nutritius a la llet.

Ingredients per a Cuallada de licor d’arròs Segadors del Delta

  • 1/2 liter of milk

  • 1/2 litre de nata

  • 2 sobres de cuallada en pols

  • Unes cullerades de sucre (el licor ja és dols, així que el sucre depèn del gust de cada u)

  • 1/2 litre de licor d’arròs

  • To decorate: cookies, jams, mint leaves…

Delta Reapers Rice Liqueur Curd Recipe

  • Put the milk, cream and sugar in a saucepan and stir well for about a couple of minutes.
  • In one flight we put the curd powder (we can add a little cold milk to dissolve the powder and avoid lumps), and we add the milk, cream and sugar very hot.
  • When it has cooled down a bit, add the rice liqueur and stir well.
  • We will see that it thickens as the curd powder dissolves with the milk. The time has come to pass it to the containers where we want to serve it. They can be flamingos or they can be glasses.
  • Finally, we decorate each glass as we see fit (watch the video to see different options)
  • Let stand in the fridge for at least 3 hours (it should have a texture similar to that of yogurt)
